This year, with the theme of “Stay true to the beginning and serve together” and the overall work plan of “One persistence, two improvements, three optimization, five types of services”, the Shenzhen Lions Club has carried out its lion work in a solid and orderly manner, focusing on Party building, strengthening publicity, standardizes membership management, and accurately serving the community. From July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022, Lions Club Shenzhen has carried out 723 service activities such as assisting the disabled, providing community services, assisting students, providing medical and health services, and promoting assistance, with a service fund of 48,396,800 yuan. 8,736 members have participated in the services, and 526,933 people have benefited from the activities, with an average service fund of 12,492.72 yuan per member. In the 19th Shenzhen Caring Action Selection, Chairman Guo Yongyong was shortlisted for the “Top 10 Caring People”, “Shenzhen Lions Club Community Service Series” and “First Aid by Your Side” were shortlisted for the “Top 100 Citizen Satisfaction Projects”.

This year, the Board of Supervisors held 10 meetings of the Board of Supervisors, attended 6 board of Directors, 8 Executive Board of Directors, 1 district meeting, 3 special Board of Directors, and actively participated in various large-scale activities; 17 supervisory commissioners of special areas and special working institutions were appointed to collect, transmit, supervise and feedback information, and coordinate the supervisory work of the Board of Supervisors. The report puts forward four problems found by the Board of Supervisors in this year’s work, and puts forward specific suggestions to promote the healthy development of Shenzhen Lions Club in a more comprehensive way.

Mr. Xu Qiubin, Chief Financial Officer, delivered a report on the financial performance of LIONS Shenzhen Club, covering the asset composition, financial income and expenditure, major financial work overview, development and innovation of the financial work in this year, etc. This year, guided by the Party building, Lions Shenzhen actively participated in and cooperated with the relevant financial work of Lions China Federation, completed the annual review of tax exemption qualification and pre-tax deduction qualification, promoted the preferential tax policy for donations, and efficiently completed the annual financial inspection, the audit of the outgoing president, the annual mid-term audit of Lions, and the audit of members’ representative meeting. He said he would do his best to complete the audit work in July to ensure the steady development of the Shenzhen Lions Club.
