After the publicity video of “First Aid is Around” was played, President Cui Weiying made an annual work report. She introduced that this year, the Emergency Committee of Shenzhen Lions Club has achieved a breakthrough from “0” to “1”, improved the emergency rescue knowledge and skills training teachers, and formed a team of instructors, coaches and teaching assistants. Vice President Chen Yuan delivered a speech. She said that she benefited a lot from learning first aid knowledge through the “First Aid by Your Side” service project. She could not only protect herself, but also save others. She hopes the First Aid by Your Side program will continue to grow.
President Guo Yongyong delivered a speech. He highly commended the Emergency Committee for its diversified and rich content of the “First Aid at Your Side” service project this year under the guidance of Chairman Cui Weiying, which carried out the training of “First Aid at Your Side” emergency rescue knowledge and skills, and donated AED equipment to the society, which was welcomed by the community residents, teachers and students of the school, and obtained a good social response. Official units also give high recognition. The “First Aid by Your Side” service project highlights the public welfare feelings of Shenzhen Lions Club, which respects life and cares for others. He hopes that this brand project can be replicated throughout the country, so that more people can learn first aid and extend a caring hand. Su Zelan, former chief supervisor, delivered a speech. The “First Aid by Your Side” service project of Shenzhen Lions Club has been recognized by the society and the government since its inception.
