In order to carry forward the culture of the Lion Club, effectively do the publicity work of this year’s Deep Lion News Agency, and better train a team of professional journalists, on the occasion of the “11th ▪ 8th” Journalists’ Day, Deep Lion News Agency held a “Exhibition of Journalists’ Style” on the afternoon of November 7th, 2022 at the city camp of Tika, Happy Harbor, Bao ‘an District. The 4th “Press Night” of Shenzhen Lions Club of China and the 2022-2023 Press Festival of Shenzhen Lions News Agency with the theme of “Promoting the Power of the Deep Lions”. The event was chaired by Gao Rui, chairman of the Deep Lion News Agency, and presided over by Xiao Rong and Yu Gang.

More than 40 people attended the event, including Li Yi, chairman of Zone 3, Liu Jun, chairman of Zone 9, Zhao Zhuoni, chairman of Community Service Committee, Su Jianhua, chairman of Disability Committee, Li Zhou, chairman of Stroke Prevention and Education Committee, Yang Boyuan, Executive chairman, Gao Ling, education and Training Consultant of Deep Lion News Agency, Meng Chun, captain of Xinxing Service Team and Zeng Xuemei, captain of Huatian Service Team.

Wu Shaoyi teaches composition techniques and shares 8 basic but widely used composition methods: horizontal line composition, vertical line composition, S-curve composition, oblique line composition, triangle composition, guide line composition, scatter composition, thirds composition. He expects people to put what they’ve learned into practice and make good movies.
Chen emphasized and demonstrated the safety issues in the shooting process. Photographers should not only pay attention to their own personal safety, but also protect the camera. “If the camera is steady, the horse must be steady.” He demonstrated on the spot how to steady the horse step, keep the camera steady, prevent shaking during the shooting process and other essentials.
Wang Haibin said that through years of practical experience, he shared with you the most practical two points: one is the photographic composition and the primary and secondary highlighting method; the other is the composition skills in the conference shooting, such as the long shot of the whole field, the mid-scene shot, the main character in the close-range shot and the detailed expression shot of the close-up character.
Afterwards, the participating journalists were divided into groups, led by the photographers to pick up the style and put the theories into practice. They took pictures of Ferris wheel, sunset, sea bridge and people, and recorded the beautiful moments with aperture and shutter while walking. The free shooting team adds a beautiful scenery for the happy harbor.
As evening approached the dinner party, rain began to fall from the gloomy sky. Despite the wet back of the rain, the reporters of the Deep Lion News Agency set up the tent with the most efficient movement, showing a strong team’s ability to work together.
Secretary General Zhou Wenpei and Chairman Gurry commended and presented certificates of honor to the outstanding education and training consultants, executive chairmen and journalists who have worked hard in the past year.
Later, Secretary General Zhou Wenpei and Chairman Gurry presented internship press cards to the new staff of the news agency this year.
